Civil Litigation Paralegal
Posted 2/13/08. Small firm seeks a fulltime
civil litigation paralegal with a minimum of
3 years experience. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
with
minimal supervision a must. Candidates must have experience in correspondence,
preparation and service of subpoenas,pleadings, discovery, motions, calendaring
depositions, site visits,etc. The successful candidate will also have
experience in
preparing a case for trial, including, but not limited to, setting up
expert witness
depositions, subpoenaing trial witnesses, preparing trial binders and
knowledge
of local rules as they relate to trial procedure. Candidates must be familiar
with State
and Federal court procedures. Candidates must possess a Paralegal Certificate.
A working
knowledge of MS Word, Legal Solutions, Timeslips, and legal research software
required.
